When attempting to balance your checkbook, you discover that your figures show a different balance in your account than was calculated by the bank. List an ordered, logical set of procedures that you may use to discover the error. You may use list, outline, or block diagram format.
List a logical procedure to solve an error. A checkbook balance does not equal the balance calculated by the bank.
1. Obtain a deposit and withdrawal list from the checkbook and the bank.
2. Cross check each transaction to find the discrepancy in value transferred.3. Once the transaction that does not match is found, find out what the transaction was.
4. Determine whether the bank or checkbook value is incorrect.
5. Change the value of the source with the incorrect charge.

5 kg ball is kicked with a force of 40 N. What is the resulting acceleration of the ball?
List the given information from the problem.
Mass of the ball is 0.5 kg
Force that the ball is kicked is 40 N.
The unknown variable is to find the resulting acceleration of the ball, given the information above. Thus, the unknown variable is acceleration a. To obtain the acceleration a, divide mass m from force F.
