Graphs and charts summarize and synthesize the data into a pictorial view. Projecting data from graphs and charts using projectors or PowerPoint^® tools allows for immediate visual comparison that may not be possible when results are embedded in text.

The basic answer is that peer review allows the researcher to select others who are knowledgeable in the topical area and who have research expertise to review the findings and respond to the conclusions.
