Any three of: identify family preference, work as team with family, use of assessment materials appropriate to child age, level of development and accommodate child's needs. Professionals plan accommodation and adaptation needed. Assessment addressed all developmental domains. Variety of methods utilized. Ongoing assessment used for planning and progress monitoring. Report assessment results clearly to families. Assessment tools are sensitive enough to detect child progress. Clinical reasoning/judgment may be used to identify level of functioning in addition to assessment instrument to determine eligibility. Professional collects information about child including daily routine and natural environments.
