In Order to Adequately Plan for Emergencies, the Security Manager

In order to adequately plan for emergencies, the security manager must make certain that the corporation has access to all necessary resources that will save lives, minimize damage, and ensure the continued operation of rapid restoration of damaged member plants. Most plants ensure access to such resources by:

A) Providing for a budget that will supply all the resources needed to cope with a major emergency
B) Establishing appropriate liaison with the police, fire, rescue, and medical forces of the community to provide services as needed
C) Relying on their own self-help organization and equipment and joining hands with other plants in the community for mutual aid
D) Establishing appropriate contact with the nearest military base
E) Contracting with local security companies to provide necessary resources, if needed during an emergency
