Three People Applied for a Job: Ted Is 84, Fred

Three people applied for a job: Ted is 84, Fred is 62, and Joe is 38. None of the applicants were offered the job. Given some of the remarks made during the interview, all three men felt they were not hired because they might have been considered too old.
