Vroom's Expectancy Theory

Vroom's expectancy theory:

A) states that people's needs are arranged on a hierarchy of importance and the higher-order needs must be satisfied first before they move on to lower-order needs such as safety needs.
B) states that employees compare their results with those of coworkers and decrease their efforts if they feel they are under-rewarded for similar work.
C) describes the process by which people are motivated to accept challenging goals and receive feedback on their progress.
D) describes the process people use to evaluate the likelihood that their efforts will yield the results they want,along with the degree to which they want those results.
