Refer to PengAtlas Map 2.4 (European Union) and note those EU members that use the euro. Note also PengAtlas Map 3.4 (Top 10 and Bottom 10 countries by GDP) and compare to Map 2.4. Which country that is part of the top 10 in GDP and is also part of the EU does not use the euro? What are the pros and cons of it having its own currency? In your opinion, it were to adopt the euro, which would gain more-that country or those that currently use the euro?
