You place it into a standard plasmid vector and transform E. coli with the resulting recombinant DNA, which has a total size of 7 kb. You are given the task of restriction-mapping the DNA. You digest the DNA with Bam HI and, upon gel electrophoresis, observe a band at 5.0 kb and one at 1.0 kb. When you digest the DNA with Hin dIII, you observe fragment bands at 4 kb and 3 kb. When you digest the 7.0-kb DNA with both enzymes, you observe bands at 3 kb, 2 kb, and 1 kb. Based on this information, draw a restriction map of the recombinant plasmid.
