GEORGE FOREMAN
George E. Foreman was born on January 10, 1949, in Marshal, Texas. He grew up on the tough streets of Houston's Fifth Ward area, and as a young kid he was always getting into trouble. He joined the Job Corps and his life changed. One of the counselors noticed that he was always into fights, so he decided that George should put all of his energy into something positive. This started his boxing career. Since 1995 Foreman has been a partner with Salton in promoting the George Foreman cooking grills and other barbecue products. Today, "if there is one thing George Foreman knows, it's good cooking."
