A circular plasmid has two restriction sites for the enzyme Zsp2 I, which cleaves the site ATGCA?T (the arrow indicates the position of the cleavage). After digestion the fragments are ligated together, and a circular product is isolated that includes one copy of each of the fragments. Does this mean that the ligated plasmid is the same as the original? Explain.
