As a student there are several ways in which accounting information is used. For example, in order to pay a bill one must first examine the statement. The statement is where the financial information, which is needed to cast a decision. Budgeting often plays a critical role in a college student's life, which would involve the use of financial information.
Not all situations are the same. Some require individuals to supply financial information. For example, many college students are required to submit financial information to in order to get financial aid. Students like the rest of the working population are required to file tax's which is based on your submission of financial documents.
