Building Your Network
Networking can be regarded as the process of building a team that works with you to achieve success. You can start the following exercise now, but it will probably take your entire career to implement it completely. To start networking or make your present networking more systematic, take the following steps:
List family members, friends, and acquaintances who could assist you in meeting your goals or objectives. Prepare a contact card or database entry for each person on your list, including as many details as you can about the person and the person's family, friends, employers, and contacts. Include in your contacts members of your online network, assuming they are more than people who do not really know you but simply list you as a "friend" or "favorite."
