I graduated from a fairly well-known university in the Midwest knowing I wanted to go into sales. I worked two summer internships in sales actually selling for companies (one was a minor league baseball team where I was the leading salesperson when I returned to school for the fall), and I knew it was for me. So when I got the job with a company to move to the Northeast and begin to sell, I was thrilled! Graduation was made all the more exciting by knowing that I was packing up and moving the next day to the big city.Now it's been three months and I've made one sale. And the company lost that one by not delivering on time. Then today I got a call from my manager, who told me that we both nearly got fired for lack of production. I'm making my calls-he's not! I know I can document my activity because I'm entering it into the software system. My boss told me that his boss, the one who nearly fired both of us, said I wasn't to know about our near-death experience. What should I do? I'm so stressed out, I can barely function!
