Snow wrote a $23.12 check to a convenience store, Circle K. The check bounced, and Circle K sent the check to its attorney, Riddle, for collection. Riddle sent Snow a letter demanding payment along with a $15 service fee. Snow paid the $23.12, but refused to pay the $15. Then Snow sued Riddle for violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act because the collection letter did not include the required "validation notice" telling him about his legal rights under the FDCPA. Riddle responded by saying that the FDCPA does not apply to dishonored checks. Does a dishonored check constitute a debt such that the FDCPA would apply Explain. See Snow v.
