Many companies make quarterly reports available on their corporate web page.Quarterly reports can be accessed through the SEC's EDGAR system at www.sec.gov (under Filings, click Company Filings Search, type in Company Name, and under Filing Type, search for 10-Q).
Access the most recent quarterly report for a company with which you are familiar to complete the following requirements.
Required
Prepare a one-page report describing your findings for the following:
1.Whether the company provides the minimum disclosures required for interim reports.
2.Any disclosures the company provides that exceed the minimum disclosures required.
3.The various year-to-year comparisons that can be made using the disclosures provided in the quaterly report.
