Choose an article from a recent edition of an accounting journal such as the Journal of Accountancy or The CPA Journal. Analyze the effectiveness of the writing using the "Tips for the Effective Writer" shown in Figure 1-2 in Chapter 1. Then summarize your evaluation in a short memo to your instructor. Alternatively, your instructor may ask you to prepare an oral presentation of your analysis. Whether you present your analysis in written or oral form, back up your findings with specific examples from the article you analyzed.
