What are the characteristics of angiosperms of fungi of algae
التوضيح
The characteristics of Angiosperms are as follows,
Angiosperms are the flowering plants, in which the ovule is completely enclosed by sporophyte tissue. Flowers are the reproductive organs of the angiosperms, the attractive colours and shape of the flowers induce insects and other animals to carry the pollen. Parts of the flower develop into the seed and the fruit after fertilization. Angiosperms have the same vascular system for the transport of water and nutrients to each cell for the regulation of metabolism like photosynthesis and photorespiration, etc.
The characteristics of Fungi are as follows:
Fungi are the eukaryotic organisms, which have a diverse group of species. Mycorrhizae, is a fungus that grow as a symbionts on the roots of vascular plants. The presence of Mycorrhizae on the roots allows the drawing of water and nutrients from the surrounding soil, which makes available for the plant to utilize, in turn the plant provide nutrition for the bacteria to survive.
Some fungal species causes infections to humans and animals. For example, Endemic fungal infections like histoplasmosis , coccidioidomycosis , and blastomycosis causes infection in healthy persons. The opportunistic fungal infections like candidiasis , aspergillosis and cryptococcosis causes infection in immuno-compromised patients who are treated with corticosteroids, immunosuppressive drugs and on chemo therapy.
The characteristics of green alga are as follows:
The green algae which are the ancestors of plant kingdom and they are aquatic organisms. Green algae have two types of chlorophyll pigments, namely chlorophyll-a, and chlorophyll-b. Their cell wall is made up of cellulose and store food material in the form of starch granules, namely amyloplasts.
