The ethics provides standards and values that help to rate a profession and health care organization. It ensures that a health care organization abides by certain rules to protect the right of patients while delivering high-quality care. Most ethical issues include personal, truthful, honest, qualitative and subjective aspects rather than just the technical, quantitative and objective side.
Research is done to explain the theory and validates. Sometimes the nurse does not know that they are using the theory they are performing. Nursing theory has its own language being unique and relates to scientific knowledge.
The self-efficacy of an individual to implement the lessons learned plays an essential role in the behavior. Therefore, this theory is applicable to applied research. The internal or individual factors are factors like self-efficacy. Therefore, it is associated with cognitive part of a social cognitive theory.

Compare and contrast the problem-solving process, nursing process, and research process.

Problem solving approaches are the part of cognitive domains. Cognitive domain is the first principle that is associated with nature of learning. Many educational principles are involved in guidance of selection of health information that should be given to individuals, families, communities and populations.
The nursing process is defined as a series of steps taken to implement a nursing procedure on a client. The nursing process is applied to the client. A client can be an individual or a community. A program management process is applied to a program and not to the client. This management process allows smooth application of the program and ensures better results.
Research may be defined as the process of systematic inquiry and correlation to enhance understanding in a field of study. Carrying out research helps to understand the practical efficiency of a hypothesized method of treatment. Discussing methods of practice among colleagues is always the healthiest way of motivating one another.

Identify the steps of the quantitative research process in descriptive, correlational, quasiexperimental, and experimental published studies.

The methods used for the assessment of the impact of the experimental variables on the behavior of subjects can be split into two generalized categories; namely, descriptive and the experimental methods. Descriptive methods are methods that describe the response (behavior) and the associated situation in which the change took place.
The descriptive method is highly competent for attaining richer and fine detailed information. It is applicable to the behaviors of the subjects and the circumstances, in which the behavior is typically associated with. Correlational observation shows that the time course of LTP (long-term potentiation) is similar to the time course of a memory formation.
Experimental analysis of behavior is commonly referred to as behavior analysis. It is the science that came into being from radical behaviorism. Behavior analyst provides research on the various principles of operant conditioning.
