How have war and declines in natural resources contributed to undernutrition in developing countries?
The problem of under nutrition has been intensifying due to social, economic and political changes. The most probable causes of under nutrition are Poverty, War and civil / political unrest, Rapid exhaustion of natural resources and tremendous disparity in the food and population ratio, etc.
In developing countries, rapid depletion of natural resources, like water, farmland, fish, etc and war and civil / political unrest are one of the major contributors of under nutrition.
If any of these two factors happen in a developing country, it should spend huge amount of budget to accomplish and thrive. However, at the same time country will be decline economically and cannot spend money for the food and health needs of people. It leads to under nutrition and food insecurity.
