What type of information is found on the master calendar?
Calendaring refers to the process wherein the attorney and paralegal make use of tracking system that provides dates, deadlines for document submission, organizing of events etc. that is provided by a software for an entire case and other activities of the law firm.
The type of information that is found on a master calendar is as follows:
• Trial dates ; it provides for the dates on which the trial of particular case is going to take place in the court.
• Hearing dates ; it provides for the dates on which the case hearing at the court is likely to take place.
• Deposition dates ; it provides for the dates at which the attorney and client is likely to deposit case fees in the court.
• Motion dates ; it provides for the next hearing dates for the case that has been file din the court and in the litigation process.
• Document due dates ; it provides for the dates at which the particular documents had to be filed in the court related to case proceedings.

It is mentioned that case management stand as the important tool for the lawyers and law firms to organize each and every case properly with latest update in them. The type of information is contained in case management systems are events like trial dates that will provide for the dates on which the trial of particular case is going to take place in the court; hearing dates provides for the dates on which the case hearing at the court is likely to take place; deposition dates which provides for the dates at which the attorney and client is likely to deposit case fees in the court; motion dates which provides for the next hearing dates for the case that has been filed in the court and in the litigation process; document due dates which provides for the dates at which the particular documents had to be filed in the court related to case proceedings.
Case management system benefits a lawyer working on multiple cases in a way that today attorneys and law firms have to work on various cases at the same time, and to make them not to miss any of the appointments or formalities related to any of the case attained by them, they need to manage the information related to every case systematically. The importance of case management system could be that it is used by the law firm for following-up every case or event to undertake them properly. Using this system, no document or event could be removed from the system unless it is completed providing efficiency of work in the law firm's missions and objectives. By using this system, the attorney and legal assistant do not miss any of the deadline related to the hearing, client meeting, submission of case related documents etc. calling for efficiency in the law firm.

What information is contained on a personal calendar that is not contained in the master calendar?
Calendaring stand for the process wherein the attorney and paralegal make use of tracking system that provides dates, deadlines for document submission, organizing of events etc. that is provided by a software for an entire case and other activities of the law firm.
Personal calendar stand for the calendar of an individual attorney that provides for the important dates related to the case, appointments, follow-ups etc. alongwith certain personal information and notes.
The information that is contained on a personal calendar which is absent in a master calendar are-
• An attorney gets the reminder for the dates and times for the appointment with a client or potential clients using personal calendar;
• He also gets reminded for attending seminars and conferences;
• Reminder of dates and times for video or telephone calls with clients or opposing attorneys is provided by personal calendar;
• Dates and times for lunch with outside parties;
• Dates to have continuous education could be provided by a personal calendar;
• Other reminders like birthdays and vacation dates;
• List of other chores related to office work;
• General note writing etc. could take place using a personal calendar.
