What is (economic) capital?
Capital is the resources used in the production of goods and services, which include machinery, equipment, buildings, and vehicles used in creating the firms' output.

What is a capital offense?
A capital offense is a criminal charge punishable by the death penalty or "losing one's head." It is a crime such as murder or betrayal of one's country that is determined to be so serious that the death penalty is considered an appropriate punishment.

What is the death penalty?
The death penalty is the punishment of execution given to a person who has been convicted of a capital offense by a court of law, although there may be reasons that the punishment is never administered.
