You work part time as a CHN in a two-nurse office in a remote community. The other nurse works full time. You are both responsible for implementing the full range of public health programs. Because of the difficulty in finding casual replacements over the last two months, you deferred your vacation and have worked more than full time. You have just received a call that the full-time nurse has gone on sick leave. As your manager, who works 500 kilometres away, tells you this, she adds that the medical health officer has identified two tuberculosis cases in your community. Your manager asks you to work overtime again, and you are debating what your answer should be. As a group, identify the following:
