You are the new CHN in an outpost setting on a community-based Indigenous reserve. Two other nurses are stationed at the centre, but they are from the community and live with their spouses away from the station. You are the only nurse who works at the outpost accommodation. This particular community, with a population of 545, is fly-in only with interruptions of flight service due to inclement weather. As a group with your classmates, identify the following:
a) Priorities you would engage in as the new nurse
b)The process you would use to assess the community.
c) How you would develop a relationship with the other nurses and community residents.
