1)The F report and its impact on the healthcare system in Country U:
The F report provides details about the situation of medical schools in Country C and Continent A. The findings of the report helped in reviving the medical education system of the country. It gave rise to a new system of medical education with the introduction of curriculums and admission exams.
2)Healthy people report initiative:
It is a program organized towards building a healthier society in Country U. These initiatives promote the awareness about healthcare for the prevention of diseases. The healthy people initiatives aim at building healthy individuals in the country.
The following are the three recent initiatives:
• Decreasing the diseases related to food and encouraging people to follow food safety practices
• Increasing the number of citizens who practice food safety measures
• Reducing the number of children and adults who are obese in the country
3)The reason for the development of health insurance:
The occurrence of diseases in human is uncertain. If a person falls ill suddenly, there arises the need for medical treatment. Medical services are costly and a common person may not be able to bear the cost all of a sudden. The health insurance helps the patient in meeting the unexpected medical costs. This necessity of health insurance led to its development.
Role of K Foundation in the health insurance:
K Foundation was a private not for profit organization founded by Mr. K. The foundation supported healthsafety related activities. It also asked the employees to maintain their own health by investing in insurance schemes. The promotional activities by the K Foundation led to the increased number of people enrolling in health insurance schemes.
4)The use of iron triangle in assessing the healthcare:
Iron triangle is a tool that evaluates the health care based on three factors namely cost, quality, and accessibility. It stresses that the healthcare system should have a balance between the three factors.
Example:
If the healthcare system focuses on reducing the costs, then the healthcare delivery might lose quality. If the healthcare system focuses on improving quality, then the costs might increase and the low-income people may not have the capability to access such quality services. There should be a balance. Hence, it is possible to assess the efficiency of healthcare system with the help of the three factors of iron triangle.
5)Patient bill of rights:
The Patient bill of rights is an act that grants rights to the patients. This was developed to ensure the rights of the patients while they received healthcare services. The bill ensures the secrecy of patient's information, and unbiased treatment.
