Print remainder statements for all patients with last names beginning with the letter H and ending with the letter S. Note: Be sure to enter SYZMAM instead of just S to select all patients whose last names begin with the letter S.

1. Click the Print/Send button in the Statement Management dialog box. The Print/Send Statements dialog box is displayed.
2. Select Paper as the statement method. Verify that the Exclude Billed Paid Entries box is checked. Click the OK button.
3. In the Open Report dialog box that appears, select Remainder Statement (All Payments). Click the OK button.
4. In the Print Report Where? dialog box, choose the option to preview the report on screen. Click the Start button. The Data Selection Questions dialog box is displayed.
5. In the Chart Number Range boxes, enter the chart numbers that will select all patients with last names beginning with H through S. Click the OK button.
6. Browse the statements in the Preview Report window. Notice that statements with a Sent status do not show any transactions, whereas newly created statements, with a Ready to Send status, list the transactions. Click the Print button. After printing, close the Preview window.
7. Notice that Jill Simmons's statement now has a status of Sent. Once a statement is printed, its status changes from Ready to Send to Sent. Close the Statement Management dialog box.
