Exercise 31

Enter an appointment on Thursday, November 11, 2010, at 9:00 A.M. for John Gardiner, thirty minutes in length. You do not know his provider, so this information must be looked up in Medisoft before you enter the appointment.
1. Go to the Patient List dialog box.
2. Select John Gardiner as the patient.
3. Click the Other Information tab to find his assigned provider.
4. Click the Office Hours button on the Windows task bar (bottom of screen). Notice that the Patient/Guarantor dialog box is still partially visible underneath the Office Hours window.
5. Select Gardiner's provider in the Provider box in Office Hours.
6. Enter the appointment. Remember to set the calendar to the correct date.
7. Minimize Office Hours.
8. In Medisoft, close the open dialog boxes.
