Genome is the entire sequence of DNA, a genetic code, carried by a person. DNA is read in codes made by nucleotides known as A, T, C, and G. A human has around 3 billion sequences (mixtures of A, T, C, and G) of DNa. For example, the Human Genome Project , a project to sequence a group of people's genome, took more than 10 years to complete. Advancement in technology had reduced the time required to read an individual's entire genome.
