Once the initial license is received, an annual license fee is required to maintain the license. Wilson was granted an architecture license and paid the first annual fee. One year he failed to pay this fee. During this time, he contracted with clients for approximately $34,000 of architectural services Wilson had not renewed his license. Wilson sued for his fees.
