Law:
A law is a set of rules, regulations, and guidelines which govern the behaviour of the individuals in a society. A law is equal in the application and extends to all of its subjects equally. It is an enactment made by a state. It is the command of the sovereign backed by sanction.
Morality:
It is the innate values of a person. Morality is a very subjective concept and it is not same for everyone. What might be immoral to a person may be moral to another person. Morality depends upon the culture in a society. Although it is not a rule, morality may influence the law.
Difference:
Law is same for all whereas morality may vary from person to person. Derogation from the law is illegal and punishable. There is no such punishment in derogation from morality. Morality is more of a subjective concept and it depends on the individual to follow his or her own moral principles.
