Evel Knievel is a motorcycle daredevil well known for his death-defying leaps over vehicles, bodies of water, and canyons. He is often referred to as the father of extreme sports. In 2001 he attended the ESPN Action Sports and Music Awards in Las Vegas. Celebrities were asked to have their picture taken, and Evel and his wife consented. Their picture was one of 17 captioned pictures of celebrities posted on the website "espn.com". The caption on his picture, which shows him standing between two women, one of whom was his wife, was: "Evel Knievel proves that you're never too old to be a pimp." The other captions were similarly hyperbolic and figurative. Does Evel have a valid claim for defamation?
