Kirsten Fletcher and John Marshall rented an apartment for a year. After a couple of months, they were not getting along and Marshall had a chance to go to college, so he moved out. Marshall signed the lease on April 29, 1991; he turned 18 by June 30, 1991. Fletcher sued him for half the rent, arguing that although he was a minor when he signed the contract, he ratified it by moving in and paying rent after attaining majority. Has Marshall ratified the contract?
