Employees Say Benefits Matter
In employee satisfaction surveys conducted since 2002, the Society of Human Resource Management has found that benefits ranked in the top five contributors to job satisfaction every year except 2012. Among the aspects of benefits that employees consider important or very important, paid time off and health insurance take the top spots. At the same time, the HR managers surveyed were more likely than the employees to say employees are satisfied with each aspect of the benefits.
