You're a management major on co-op with a large robotics and automation company. Most of the employees are engineers, salespeople, customer support staff, and technicians. You've been assigned to various areas of the company, and you're currently reporting to Jack Kiley, the director of communications. One of Jack's duties is to write the president's monthly column for the employee newsletter, a column the president reviews before it is published. Jack has been coming across more and more articles and blog posts about the detrimental effects of multitasking and the benefits of focused, "mindful" work, so he thinks he'll write the president's next newsletter article about this topic. That's where you come in. "See what you can find out about mindfulness on the job," Jack asks you. "Find out what it means, how to have it, what its benefits are, who's practicing it."
