Business Plan Archives: See if you can find a plan for your business at one of the business plan archive sites, because there is no shortage of business plans available for review on the Internet. For example, www.businessplanarchive.org provides plans from the dot-com boom and bust, including some plans of businesses still operating today. The commercial site behind Business Plan Pro offers a number of example business plans on their site, http://www.bplans.com/sample_business_plans.cfm. This is the site the SBA refers folks to when they seek example plans. The key academic archive comes from the Moot Corp competition, which pits MBA students against one another in an international competition. Their archive is at http://www.businessplans.org/businessplans.html, although the site is sponsored by another commercial company, Business Resource Software.
