Your employer, Nalley, Nellie Nicholson, CPAs, is considering the use of cloud-based systems to grow its business and better serve its clients. As one with some knowledge of information technology, you have been asked to prepare a report for the managing partners of your firm evaluating the pros and cons of cloud-based systems. Your managing partners have asked that you give specific attention to the ability of cloud-based solutions to cut costs, build client and employee relationships, improve the exchange of information with clients, and build sales capabilities and sales management. You have also been asked to address the issue of security of sensitive information that may be placed in the cloud.
