Divide the class into teams of relatively equal size. Each team may select one of the following problems it intends to solve, or decide on one of its own: arranging for a certain speaker or expanding the vegetarian menu in the cafeteria. While it is not necessary to complete the entire problem-solving process, each team should go through the forming stage of team development and establish norms during which it outlines a plan for accomplishing the group's task. Is each team cohesive? Why or why not?
