Answer the following questions for Ben Ivanos's (Meet Your Patient) nursing diagnosis of Acute Pain secondary to musculoskeletal trauma (arms, legs, body) and muscle spasms:
• What would be the opposite, healthy response to his problem?
• What changes should you see in appearance, body functions, symptoms, knowledge, and emotions?
• If the problem is prevented or solved, how will Mr. Ivanos look or behave? What will you be able to observe (e.g.: see, hear, smell, taste, or touch)?
• What should Mr. Ivanos be able to do to demonstrate a positive change? How well, or how soon, should he be able to do it?
