A patient dying of lung cancer asks you to pray with him early one morning. You agree and ask him what he would like you to pray for. He responds, "That I may be cured of my cancer and go back home." He is on oxygen therapy, has pain medications given as prescribed, and is in a room by himself. Construct a prayer that might be meaningful and helpful.
