The study by Ames and colleagues at Simon Fraser University and Chisholm of St.Francis Xavier University on Romanian orphans adopted into Canadian homes found that two years after adoption:

A) Romanian born late-adopted orphans did not differ from Romanian born early-adopted orphans or from Canadian born non-adoptees on a parental report attachment scale.
B) Romanian born late-adopted orphans were more insecurely attached compared to Romanian born early-adopted orphans and Canadian born non-adoptees on a parental report attachment scale.
C) Romanian born late-adopted orphans were more securely attached compared to Romanian born early-adopted orphans and Canadian born non-adoptees when attachment was assessed using a separation-reunion procedure.
D) Romanian born late-adopted orphans were more anxious than Romanian born early-adopted orphans or from Canadian born non-adoptees when assessed using a separation-reunion procedure.
