Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) has been thought to mainly affect white boys.Recently,however,the diagnosis has been applied more broadly to other children.What might be the reason for this willingness to diagnose more kinds of children with ADHD?

A) Since there are more girls and children belonging to minority groups than there are white boys,it stands to reason that more would be diagnosed with ADHD.
B) More children are obese and overweight now,so the stereotype of the thin or normal weight white boy has become less prevalent.
