In 1975, the Governor-General Sir John Kerr Dismissed the Prime

In 1975, the Governor-General Sir John Kerr dismissed the Prime Minister Mr.Gough Whitlam.Some people argued that Kerr acted improperly in dismissing Whitlam because:

A) It was a breach of friendship.
B) It was consistent with the convention that a Prime Minister who cannot obtain supply should either seek a general election or be dismissed.
