A counselor, a high school student client, and the client's parents may agree that the counselor will only share with the parents information about whether the client attended and participated in sessions, and will not share the content of session conversations. This arrangement:

A) will be legally binding under normal circumstances.
B) will be binding by ethical guidelines under normal circumstances.
C) may be broken by the counselor at any time for any reason.
D) may be broken by the parents at any time for any reason.
