The Vietnam War resulted in a reunified Vietnam, with the communist forces of North Vietnam taking control over the south. The war officially ended in 1975 with the fall of Saigon, and the subsequent unification of the country under communist rule. There was no American victory, and the Khmer Rouge were a separate regime in Cambodia that was not directly related to the Vietnam War. The war started in the 1950s, not the late 1960s, and Spain was not involved in the conflict.
