A) they are a professional and they acted in a manner that is widely accepted in Australia by peer professional opinion to be competent professional practice.
B) they have exercised the level of skill and competence that they and their peers would exercise in their own affairs.
C) they are not a professional.
D) they are a gratuitous agent and therefore owe a lesser standard of care to the principal.
