Glacial drift includes all material deposited by a glacier, including till (unsorted mixture of rock, sand, and clay), moraines (ridges of sediment left behind by a glacier), and erratics (large boulders transported and deposited by a glacier). It can also include material deposited by streams flowing out of a glacier, such as outwash (sorted sediment deposited by a stream flowing from a glacier) and kames (small hills and ridges formed from sediment deposited by a stream flowing on top of a glacier).
