While it is certainly true that children can learn, this argument is not a strong one because someone else could easily and reasonably oppose it. For example, someone could argue that there are certain children who are not capable of learning, or that different children learn in different ways. Therefore, the argument is not necessarily universally accepted, and is therefore not very persuasive.
