Susan Appears Distraught and Anxious at the Beginning of the Next-To-Last

Susan appears distraught and anxious at the beginning of the next-to-last session. She states that she really does not feel that she has made much progress in her work with Mark, and wonders aloud whether this has all been a waste of time. Now Mark is confused. What might he say?

A) You seem pretty upset today. I wonder what's going on.
B) We have accomplished a great deal together, and I wonder how you can say we haven't made much progress.
C) Susan, something is troubling you today. I sense that you may be reacting to the ending of our sessions.   A common reaction to termination is to be fearful of the future. People often question whether they've accomplished anything. Perhaps you are a bit angry with me. Do any of these strike a chord with you?
