You Have Brought a Suspect in a Serious Crime to the Police

You have brought a suspect in a serious crime to the police station. So far, he has been silent. You read him his Miranda rights when you handcuffed him, and you also made him sign a written version of the rights while he was sitting at the interrogation table. You ask him again if he would like to talk about what happened and, this time, he says, "You know, I am very hungry and my blood sugar is starting to cause me some problems.
