Both Datasheet view and Design view in Microsoft Access allow you to add new fields to a table. In Datasheet view, you can simply enter data into a new column and Access will automatically add the field to the table structure. In Design view, you can add new fields by selecting the "Add Field" button on the Ribbon or by right-clicking on an existing field and selecting "Insert Rows."
