Every sentence must contain a subject and predicate.
The subject of a sentence is the person, place, thing, or idea that is doing or being something. You can find the subject of a sentence if you can find the verb. Ask the question, "Who or what is performing the action in the sentence?" and the answer to that question is the subject.
The predicate is the part of a sentence or clause containing a verb and stating something about the subject.
"They enjoyed the movie." is correct because the subject is "they" and the predicate is "enjoyed the movie"
